Marcass
Marcass is a BLM Gelded Burro being offered for adoption via The Humane Society of the United States Platero Project. He will lead, load, and pick up all four feet before he goes home. Burros make great hiking companions, trail animals and livestock guardians. You can even ride them!

Marcass met with his adopters today. They were able to take him for a walk around our property, pick up all four feet and just spend time with him. They can’t wait till his adoption is finalized so he can go home!

Worked more with Marcass on picking up his front and hind feet. He’s been doing great!

We have been working slowly but surely with Marcass. Initially he was pretty shy but with more one on one attention and lots of carrots he’s now allowing himself to be haltered and led around the property. This is a nice, easy going jack and will be a great addition to any farm!
