Sally is a BLM Jenny available for adoption. She will lead, load, and pick up all four feet before he goes home. Burros make great hiking companions, trail animals and livestock guardians. You can even ride them! They can carry up to half their body weight in a rider. Can be haltered:

Worked with Sally some more with her feet. She is getting more and more comfortable with having them handled. Here is a quick video!

Worked with Sally tonight on picking up her front feet. By the end of the lesson she was being very good about being approached and allowing her front feet to be picked up.

Afternoon session with Sally went well. She’s still pretty scared but she’s a nice Jenny and has never offered to kick or be mean. Joe worked with her to get her haltered and introduced her to carrots.
- Scratches aren’t that bad!

New load of burros came in today. She’s a little bit shy but we are sure our stock of carrots will bring her around!
