Caramel
Caramel is a 3yo liver chestnut gelding gathered who was born at the facility. This big, stocky gelding is in training as part of the Trainer Incentive Program. He will lead, load and pick up all four feet before he goes home. He is NOT trained to ride but should make an excellent trail horse with additional training. The adoption process is simple. April 09, 2015 - Caramel is coming along great. This big gentle giant is easy to halter and lead and we started teaching him to pick up his front feet today. He wasn’t worried at all. He always wants to be in your business and see what is going on. We measured him with the height stick and he is a solid 15 hands. Definitely big enough for a man.
April 1, 2015 - Arrival
Caramel arrived today from the BLM. Clearly he is mellow kind of guy. Very friendly and willing to take carrots and be pet on. Here is a brief video of him a couple of hours after he arrived.
At the facility
This is a friendly, social guy. He was very politely soliciting attention during my visit.
