This is Imprass. She is a beautiful black jenny that was gathered from Cibola-Trigo HMA in Arizona on 06/08/2012. She is being halter started as part of the Humane Society of the United State’s Platero Project. She will learn how to lead, pick up all four feet and load into a trailer before she goes home.

Imprass is off to her new home. She was such a sweet little jenny to have. She loves carrots and would allow us to pick up all four feet at liberty. We made sure she loads nicely in and out of her new horse trailer before going home.

We continue to handle Imprass. She’s doing great with leading! We ventured out on the obstacle course. For her first time she was awesome!! She wasn’t sure about the bridge but walked over most of the other obstacles. We are very proud of her for her first time seeing everything!
May 14, 2014 - Update
This is a naturally very sweet jenny. the smaller of the four that arrived. She has a scar on her back left that does not affect her in any way other than it is not pretty. She always comes up to the front of the pen to say hi. Today she was haltered and tied for the first time and did very well. She is pretty accepting of touch and LOVES carrots!
