Zephyr is a 6yo gray mare gathered from Seaman HMA in NV. She is only 13 hands tall. This beautiful mare is in training as part of the Trainer Incentive Program. She will lead, load and pick up all four feet before she goes home. Shee is NOT trained to ride but should make an excellent trail horse with additional training.  The adoption process is simple. March 15, 2015 – Update

Been working with Zephyr to reinforce picking up her feet and she’s doing great!

March 7, 2015

Worked with Zephyr and taught her how to tie and take a bath. It took her a little bit to get used to the water but we introduced it to her slowly and she soon realized nothing about the water was hurting her. After her bath she had a mini photo shoot and a trip to the obstacle course. Here are some pics.

March 4, 2015 – Arrival Day

Talk about cute as a bug in a rug! Zephyr had a little bit of time with a volunteer prior to coming to us so she knows how to be haltered and leads but we’ll be teaching her to pick up her feet and load into a trailer as well as lots of other fun stuff like going over the obstacle course. This little mare is CUTE. She is a true pony and only 13 hands tall. Very well proportioned with good feet and comes right up to the gate to be haltered. Will make a fun little driving pony or riding pony with additional training! Here are some pictures from day 1. She needs a bath and excuse the halter it was definitely too big for her!
